Privacy Policy — SysMonitor Windows
Last updated: February 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Strategia-X ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the SysMonitor Windows desktop application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
By installing and using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please uninstall the App.

1. About the App
SysMonitor Windows is a desktop system monitoring application built with .NET 8 and WinUI 3. It provides real-time hardware monitoring, system performance analytics, storage management, and optimization tools for Windows devices. The App is designed to operate locally on your device and prioritizes user privacy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Data Collected Locally (On-Device Only)
The App collects and processes the following system data locally on your device only. This data is stored in a local SQLite database and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party:
- Hardware Information — CPU model, usage, temperature, and clock speeds; GPU model, usage, temperature, and memory; RAM capacity, usage, and speed; storage drive models, capacity, health status, and temperatures (collected via LibreHardwareMonitor).
- System Information — Operating system version, computer name, system uptime, installed .NET runtime version, and display configuration.
- Performance Metrics — Real-time and historical CPU, GPU, memory, disk, and network utilization data, stored as time-series snapshots for performance trend analysis.
- Process Information — Running processes, their resource consumption (CPU, memory), and process names for the system monitoring dashboard.
- Network Statistics — Network adapter names, bandwidth usage (upload/download speeds), and connection status. No network traffic content or browsing data is collected.
- Storage Analytics — File system analysis for the storage cleanup and optimization features, including file sizes and types. No file contents are read or transmitted.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
The App does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Personal identification information (name, email, address, phone number)
- Browsing history, search queries, or internet activity
- File contents, documents, photos, or personal files
- Passwords, credentials, or authentication tokens
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Microphone or camera data
- Keystroke or input logging of any kind
- Data from other applications
- Any data transmitted to external servers
3. How We Use Information
All data collected by the App is used exclusively for the following on-device purposes:
- Real-Time Monitoring — Displaying live hardware and system performance metrics in the App's dashboard and charts (powered by LiveCharts2).
- Historical Analysis — Storing performance snapshots in the local SQLite database to generate trend charts and usage history.
- System Optimization — Analyzing storage usage and system state to provide cleanup recommendations and optimization suggestions.
- Alerts and Notifications — Monitoring thresholds for temperature, usage, and disk health to alert you of potential issues.
No data leaves your device. The App operates entirely offline with respect to your system data. There are no cloud syncing features, remote telemetry, or analytics services that receive your system information.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage — All data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database managed by Entity Framework Core. The database is located in the App's local data directory.
- No Cloud Storage — The App does not upload, sync, or back up any data to cloud services, remote servers, or third-party storage.
- User Control — You have full control over all stored data. You can clear the performance history database, reset preferences, or uninstall the App at any time to remove all stored data.
- Access Controls — The App's data files are stored within your Windows user profile and are accessible only to your user account and administrator accounts on the device.
5. Third-Party Libraries
The App uses the following open-source and third-party libraries to provide its functionality. None of these libraries transmit data to external services:
- LibreHardwareMonitor — Open-source hardware monitoring library for reading sensor data (temperatures, fan speeds, voltages). Operates entirely locally.
- LiveCharts2 — Open-source charting library for rendering performance graphs. Operates entirely locally.
- Entity Framework Core (SQLite) — Database framework for local data persistence. All data remains on-device.
- CommunityToolkit.Mvvm — UI framework toolkit for the MVVM architecture pattern. Does not handle or transmit user data.
- Windows App SDK / WinUI 3 — Microsoft's UI framework for Windows desktop applications.
6. Permissions
The App may request or require the following system-level access to function properly:
- Administrator Privileges — Required to access certain hardware sensors (CPU temperature, GPU data, disk health) via LibreHardwareMonitor. The App will prompt for elevation when needed.
- File System Read Access — Required for the storage analysis and cleanup features. The App reads file metadata (size, type, date) but does not read file contents.
- Network Adapter Access — Required to display network bandwidth statistics. No network traffic content is intercepted or logged.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data collected by the App to any third party, for any purpose, under any circumstances. Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, we do not have access to your system data.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-purpose system monitoring tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal information from any user, including children. Because the App stores all data locally and does not transmit any information, there is no collection of children's personal information as defined by COPPA.
9. Your Privacy Rights
9.1 General Rights
Because the App operates entirely offline and we do not collect or store your data on our servers, privacy rights requests work differently than for cloud-based services:
- Access and Deletion — All data is stored locally on your device. You can access it through the App's interface or delete it by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
- Portability — The SQLite database can be exported from the App's data directory if you wish to migrate or back up your data.
- Opt-Out — You can disable specific monitoring features within the App's settings if you prefer not to collect certain types of system data.
9.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, please note that we do not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA through the App. All system data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us. You have the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
9.3 EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents (GDPR)
Since the App processes all data locally on your device and does not transmit personal data to us or any third party, the GDPR's data controller/processor framework is not directly applicable to the App's on-device processing. You maintain full control over all data collected by the App.
10. Updates to the App
The App may be updated periodically through the Microsoft Store or manual download. Updates may include new features, bug fixes, or security improvements. This Privacy Policy applies to the current version of the App. If a future update introduces any data collection that transmits information off-device, we will update this Policy accordingly and provide clear notice within the App prior to any such change.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that significantly affect how data is handled, we will provide notice through the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
